Herbal berbal

Well, I did something I have wanted to do for a long time. I signed up for an online herb course. I've always been fascinated with healing plants. I think I got it from my Aunt Mac. She grew all kinds of herbs and was always concocting something. Over the years, I have amassed a good collection of books on herbs-craft type, identification type, and medicinal type. I love making all kinds of potions! I have used them successfully to treat minor aches and pains over the years. Right now, I am making up a diaper rash salve we have used for years in anticipation of a new baby in the family. Sometimes my family likes my remdies, like the salve, and other times not so much.

Cool! let me know how the course goes. I love that one book you gave me on how to make remedies...I have just never had the guts to make any. I always loved the salve...the only one I remember hating was when you would make me drink Ecanacia (I know I spelled that wrong) drops...those tasted terrible!

Lovie,
How sweet of you to share that you miss my comments. Therefore... I will comment as frequently as possible.

I am a TJMaxx gal... always have been. But your red glass heart is fantastic!! Beyond anything I have ever found there. Love, love, love it. I was at TJ's a few days ago and did find a few vases and some Valentine plates. You just never know what you're going to walk out the door with. Good luck on your diet and your home remedies. I use clove oil on my joints if they ache... yes I'm at that age.

Hugs to you,
Joni

Way to go Lovie! Let me know how you like the class. I've thought about doing that for a long time, but just don't have the time. Oh well, maybe when Ben and Anna are gone, and we both know that will happen in the blink of an eye!
BTW...I got my bed caddie from Inspireco and LOVE it!! Boy, that would have definitely come in handy when I was sick, but I know I'll get tons of use out of it, and you're right! It would make a perfect gift!! Hope to see you this week! T.
